Taking a score of ring names over the years, Fiend was involved in the first King of the Ring Tournament to crown the MWF's first champion. Defeated the Baked Warrior by pinfall in the first round of that event.

Greatest Match: 5/23/92 vs. Bobo Bravo. After being defeated by former tag-team partner Bravo in the 1990 MWF King of the Ring tournament final for the MWF World title, rebounded and pinned the champion at the 1992 Elimination Confrontation event (the video footage of which was forever lost by a bumbling MWF official). Won the match with a rolling cradle and reigned as undisputed MWF World Champion for a record 5 years.

Favorite Match: 6/20/98 vs. Double-7 Chris Simmons. Voted 1998's MWF Match of the Year, Fiend engaged in a classic struggle with Double-7 at MWF Middletown Massacre 3. The bout was for Simmons' MWF U.S. title, and the champion put up the fight of his life to keep the belt from Fiend. The match itself was the age-old David vs. Goliath battle ; the lightning-quick aerialist Double-7 against the irresistible power arsenal of the much-larger Fiend. An extremely competitive back-and-forth match, in the end, Double-7 secured a slightly tainted victory due to interference from B.T. Vengeance, but that could not mar the fact that Fiend wrestled one of the finest matches of his long and illustrious MWF career.

Toughest Opponent: Dr. Destruction. Claims several victories over Dr. D during his reign as MWF World Champion and several after he lost the title, but none of those victories were ever easy ones. In his battles with Destruction, has bled, suffered concussions, as well as neck and back injuries and was actually retired at one point due to a match stipulation against Destruction. Whenever the two met, winning a wrestling match was not as important so much as surviving a war.

Most Hated Opponent: Mountain of Love. Although the two men have only met in the ring 1-on-1 twice in their entire careers, they have great hatred and distain for the other. Fiend feels Mountain of Love was instrumental in costing Fiend the MWF title in the 1990 KOTR final, and claims that Mountain's retirement in 1990 was in fact due to his fear of Fiend. Mountain of Love was made an NWA member without Fiend's consultation by Rugged Ralph, and teamed with him only when necessary. Now the Mountain has formed an alliance with Fiend's MWF rival Brett Krueger, and this surely infuriates him still more.

Favorite Manuever: Power-Bomb. Fiend possesses a wide range of power and submission manuevers including his own Rings of Fiend leg-scissors-armbar combo and his unique cradle suplex-DDT, but a manuever that he finds particularly effective is the power-bomb. With the opponent's head between his legs, Fiend hoists up the unfortunate individual to shoulder-height, then slams him to the mat with devastating force.

Finishing Manuever: Backlash. This manuever is a combo move that Fiend has perfected that is a back suplex-sidewalk slam.  Fiend picks up an opponent for a belly-to-back suplex, then twists his body when the opponent is shoulder-high and wraps his arm around his chest to drive him down to the mat with a sidewalk slam.

Scouting Report
===Strengths===
: Power Moves. In terms of sheer physical strength, Fiend is at the top of the federation. Has slammed and suplexed just about every opponent he has ever had in the MWF.
: Flexibility. Can execute martial arts manuevers with deceptive skill for a man of his size.
: Underrated Scientific Ability. Though he prefers picking up opponents and executing manuevers utilizing his great strength, Fiend is also one of the best technical wrestlers in the MWF. Those hoping to tie up the big man have found that he can counter their holds and apply his own painful submission holds.
: Low Center of Gravity. Of average height, Fiend, however, has a broad build making it difficult for opponents to handle him.
: Brings Out the Best in Opponents. A fierce competitor, an opponent is usually tested to their limit resulting in extremely competitive matches involving Fiend.

===Weaknesses===
: Injury Prone. Has been injured frequently during the course of his matches.
: Distractions. Not satisfied with the NWA organization, Fiend created his own Flock. He might want to consider ditching his ringside entourage, however, as they have proven to be too much of a distraction even though they're on his side.

Career Bio

The man who is known today as Fiend debuted in the summer of 1987 as "Smash" on the first sanctioned MWF event. Defeated Toby Avia to become the MWF International World Champion. Defeated Avia in controversial fashion, thus certain promoters refused to recognize Smash as champion.

Changed his ring name to Brother Friend and in 1989, was named the first MWF tag champions along with Bobo Bravo. Dropped the tag belts to Dr. Destruction & Mike Speedo and split with his tag partner Bravo. Fiend was involved in the first King of the Ring Tournament to crown the MWF's first champion. Defeated the Baked Warrior in the first round of that event, Buford T. Justice by dq in the second round, Mountain Of Molten Lust by countout in the semi's, but lost to former tag partner Bobo Bravo in the final. Received a U.S. title match against the champion, the Baked Warrior, at Wrestlemania 1990. Although announced as defeating the Baked Warrior by submission, the decision was reversed due to the fact that the original referee had not been the one to declare the submission thus the Baked Warrior retained the title. On that same card, was actually revealed to be the mystery partner of the man he had faced earlier in the day in a 30 minute IronMan match, Brett Krueger, and teamed with him in a World Tag Team title match and defeated the Junior Varsity Club of Dr. Destruction and Mike Speedo to win the MWF World Tag Team titles.

Held onto the tag belts for 2 years before being forced to forfeit the titles as a result of his partner Krueger's retirement allegedly due to the AIDS virus. After this was announced, however, Fiend (calling himself Nick Styles at the time) managed to defeat the reigning MWF World Champion Bobo Bravo at the 1992 Elimination Confrontation event to take the title. Now calling himself Brother Friend once again, put his MWF World title on the line in each round of the 1993 King of the Ring 2 tournament. Pinned Reverend Ralph Right in the first round and Japanese superstar Masa Sushi in the second round before being double-counted out in the semi-finals along with the U.S. Champion Vigilante (Rockin' Rich) to be eliminated from the tournament.

1997

Began a feud with Dr. Destruction in a World title match-up at Middletown Massacre II 1997. Defeated Destruction in the match, but Destruction cried foul due to a distraction by Franchise Brett Krueger who had appeared following a brief period when he had quit the MWF. Brother Friend then was scheduled to face Destruction, Krueger, and the New World Alliance founder Rugged Ralph in a 4-way match that was to take place at Summer Showdown 1997. However, before that match was to take place, Brother Friend appeared at the conclusion of the Dr. Destruction - Rugged Ralph U.S. title match pushing Dr. Destruction off the top rope thru a table costing him the match. Seemingly on a rampage, Brother Friend also appeared just prior to the scheduled Mike Speedo - Double-7 "respect" challenge match, pearl-harboring Simmons from behind and taking his place against Speedo putting his MWF belt on the line. Although dominating the match and injuring Speedo, Brother Friend was defeated when Speedo pinned him with a flying bodypress off the balcony of MWF Arena to finally lose the belt he had held.

At Independence Day 1997, Brother Friend (along with his valet Precious Polly and bodyguard Juicer Jeremy) publicly became NWA Brother Fiend during the 3-way Tables and Ladders match against Bobo Bravado and Dr. Destruction. Along with Bravado and Rugged Ralph, administered a violent attack on Destruction. Teamed with General Nuisance at BattleBowl to defeat Reverend Ralph Right and Private Parts and went on to become BattleBowl champion when he eliminated the Mountain Of Molten Lust and Double-7.

Was matched against fellow NWA member Rugged Ralph in the opening round of the 1997 King of the Ring tournament. Wrestled a surprisingly violent encounter with his associate in a 1997 match of the year candidate, but ultimately lost to Ralph after being shocker-dropper-ed thru a table. As a result of a $100,000 bounty placed on Brother Fiend's NWA partner Rugged Ralph by Destruction, faced Dr. D in a lumberjack-with-straps match at MWF WrestleMania 1997 and defeated him in the 1-on-1 encounter but extended his hand to his foe in giving him a tough match, which was apparently accepted by Destruction, who shook his enemy's hand. Later on the card, however, teamed with Bravado and Rugged Ralph to face Destruction and the Coalition in a 6-man match in which the loser of the fall must retire. At the climax of the match, Destruction seemed to turn on his partner Private Parts, and extended the briefcase containing the bounty for Brother Fiend to use against Private Parts. This was a deception by Destruction, however, as Brother Fiend raised the briefcase, Destruction drop-kicked it into his head, and scored the fall causing Brother Fiend to be retired to close out 1997.

1998

Brother Fiend managed to be reinstated by MWF President Fred Travalenee, however, as Brother Fiend had publicly quit the NWA as their talent scout. During the 1998 Elimination Confrontation, a unique 9-man elimination match that was to determine the new MWF World champion, seemed to legitimately not have a loyalty to the NWA any longer as he eliminated the MWF's Dr. Destruction as well as NWA member Mountain of Love during the contest. However, when the final 3 men came down to Brother Fiend, Speedo, and the NWA's Bravado, Brother Fiend allied himself with Bravado and brutally double-teamed the MWF's sole remaining competitor, Speedo. When they pummeled Speedo to the point where they believed him defeated, Brother Fiend actually lied down for Bravado to pin him. The plan of the NWA back-fired, however, as Speedo received help from Fiend's former bodyguard, Juicer Jeremy, who blind-sided Bravado to cause the NWA to lose the match and the opportunity to take the MWF World title.

Tired of the plans of NWA founder Rugged Ralph to take over the federation, Brother Fiend and Bobo Bravado broke off from Rugged Ralph and Mountain of Love to pursue their own goals. Teamed with Bravado at MWF Battlebowl 1998 to wrestle the Coalition in a tag-team title match. General Nuisance was late in arriving, thus Private Parts heroically offered to defend the tag belts alone as he had often done when the General had missed MWF events. This proved to be foolhardy, however, as Private Parts was no match for the combined efforts of the two former world champions and was beaten. Following the victory, the duo announced that they were tired of being looked over for MWF World title shots, and annihilated the Coalition to take the belts in a show of disgust. MWF President Travalenee, however, decided they would wrestle EACH OTHER for the right to challenge for the MWF World title belt on the next pay-per-view event. Reluctant at first, the two eventually started the impromptu match, and battled each other in a violent donnybrook. Brother Fiend was defeated after several minutes; while holding a steel folding chair, Bravado super-kicked it into Brother Fiend's face for the victory. Dissention between the two did not occur, however, despite Travalenee's hopes, as together they threw the tag team titles that they had just won into the garbage necessitating the tag belts being vacated. Later on that day, appeared along with Bobo following Dr. Destruction's MWF World title victory over Mike Speedo and threw him a black-and-white NWA t-shirt presumably to mull over the offer of becoming NWA.

At Middletown Massacre 3, was matched against Double-7 in a U.S. title match. Fought the champion in a match that was voted Match of the Year in 1998. After a seesaw match, was pinned by Double-7 following interference from Buford T. Justice. At MWF Independence Day 1998, faced the man that had caused his loss to Double-7, Justice, but Justice had himself joined Rugged Ralph's side of the warring NWA renaming himself B.T. Vengeance. Brother Fiend gave Vengeance a run for his money, but Vengeance ultimately side-slammed him for his patented 5-count. With the retirement of NWA founder Rugged Ralph and the disappearance of Bobo Bravado, the two NWA splinter groups apparently sought to reconcile their differences. At MWF In Your Face August Armageddon, Brother Fiend teamed with Mountain and Vengeance in a 6-man match against the MWF team of World champ Destruction, Mike Speedo, and Franchise Brett Krueger. The NWA team managed to take advantage of a miscommunication between Destruction and Krueger, and took the victory. After the match, Brother Fiend and Mountain violently assaulted Destruction. This confrontation led to a 3-way dance at Summer Showdown between Fiend(now dropping Brother from his name), Mountain, & Destruction for the Doc's MWF World title. Prior to that match, however, Fiend apparently sought to do things on his own instead of working with the NWA any longer. Enlisted the services of the MWF newcomer Carnage, and together, they appeared at the conclusion of the C.I.A. & Deathmask vs. Coalition match-up. Despite their having been beaten by the Coalition, C.I.A. & Deathmask were invited by Fiend and Carnage to join Fiend's new Flock. Initially, the two partners refused, thus they were brutally assaulted by Fiend and Carnage and left laying. Then, in the main event 3-way dance, Fiend squared off with Mountain of Love and Dr. Destruction for the MWF belt. Unfortunately, Dr. Destruction was able to take advantage of Fiend battling Mountain and managed to eliminate Fiend from the match after executing a senton onto a ladder placed atop him.

Fiend's plans for the Flock, however, had borne fruit, as the attack on C.I.A. the previous card had convinced the federal agent that it was foolish to resist the offer by Fiend. As a result, at MWF In Your Face 3 : Revolution Calling, the Flock obtained it's first title as Carnage assisted the new member C.I.A. in wresting the AIR title away from Mr. Hiamoto. As for Fiend, himself, a more direct approach was required in the case of Deathmask. Wrestled, defeated, and administered a frightful beating once again to Deathmask. The Flock left with their victim Deathmask as Carnage carried his unconscious body back to the dressing room area. Later on in the card, it was also revealed that it was in fact Flock member Carnage who had signed the open contract to face the MWF World champion Dr. Destruction in a title match. Fiend accompanied Carnage along with Carnage's valet, the Black Widow to ringside for the match against Destruction and together, all 3 combined their efforts to take the title from the champion. At the conclusion of the match, Fiend stacked 2 tables on top of each other and directed Carnage to put Dr. D thru them, but Carnage was caught by Destruction, and he was hurled thru the tables from the top turnbuckle himself. Dr. D nailed Fiend with a guitar, picked up the semi-conscious Carnage, and brought him in the ring for the victory.

Fiend was given the opportunity to wrestle Double-7 and Mountain of Love in a 3-way dance for Simmons' U.S. title at Superclash 1998. This match was 1 fall to a finish whoever made the pin would become the U.S. champion. The three combatants fought each other with no man getting the upper hand. Frustrated by not being able to dispense with either man, Fiend left the ring altogether enabling Double-7 to defeat the Mountain to retain the title. Later on, Carnage once again had the opportunity to wrestle for the World belt, although he first had to defeat Brett Krueger to decide who would challenge for the title. Despite having the entire Flock present surrounding the ring against Krueger, Carnage was pinned after Krueger managed to superkick Fiend, double-Krueger-kill C.I.A. and Deathmask, then apply the Krueger-kill onto Carnage for the victory. This indignity was not lost on Fiend, however, as Fiend and the entire Flock attacked Krueger prior to that MWF title match against Destruction leaving Krueger little more than the proverbial sack of potatoes and easy pickings for Destruction. However, having once again cost Krueger a shot at the MWF title, Krueger issued a challenge to Fiend for a 1-on-1 match at MWF In Your Face IV : Heart of Darkness. Answering the challenge, however, was C.I.A. and Carnage, who confronted Krueger. Krueger was instructed to pick a partner to combat Fiend and Carnage as Krueger did not deserve a match against Fiend 1-on-1. Krueger chose the Mountain of Love and together, they took on Fiend and Carnage. After a competitive match between all 4 men, Krueger managed to secure the win by pinning Fiend following a Krueger-kill on a metal ladder.

This set up the match 25 years in the making as Fiend squared off against Brett Krueger at Wrestlemania 1998. On his way to the ring, Fiend was baseball slide dropkicked by Krueger and this was to set the tone for the remainder of the contest with Krueger dominating the match-up. Fiend persevered, however, and after a mid-ring collision with the referee, managed to lock Krueger into his Rings of Fiend submission hold. Although Krueger held on and refused to give in, Krueger's tag partner Mountain of Love came to ringside and threw in the towel on Krueger's behalf for a submission win for Fiend. With the victory over Krueger, Fiend earned a title match once again against the champion Dr. Destruction at MWF Season's Beatings 1998 in an extreme death match in a ring full of weapons. As was becoming business as usual for Fiend, however, he had the advantage of Carnage and Black Widow at ringside. After a grueling contest, Fiend was pinned by Destruction following a chair-dive from the top rope onto Fiend who also had a ladder laid atop him enabling the champion to successfully defend the belt to close out 1998. If Fiend is serious about retaking the MWF title, should serious re-evaluate the value of having the flock at ringside for his matches, otherwise, they could become a ticking time-bomb ready to explode in 1999.

1999

Fiend began the 1999 MWF season by interrupting a Mountain of Love interview at the first MWF card of 1999, Saturday Slugfest 1.  During the interview, Mountain of Love was complaining  that no man in the MWF lockerroom could take his MWF United States title away.  However, Fiend made his way down to the ring with his Flock; Carnage, C.I.A., and DeathMask; together, they attacked Mountain of Love.  Travalenee sanctioned the match on the spot to be for the MWF U.S. title with "anything goes" rules.  With the match made, Fiend first sent his Flock after the Mountain.  Mountain managed to fend off the Flock by administering Death Valley Drivers to each man, but was caught in a Fiend northern lights bomb and pinned to lose the MWF U.S. title.  As Fiend and the Flock departed the ringside area with their new prize, MWF World Champion Dr. Destruction made his way out to ringside.  Saying how he was disgusted with the way Fiend had beaten Mountain, Dr. Destruction told the Mountain of Love to forget about the U.S. belt and offered Mountain of Love a shot at his MWF World title instead later on in the card, to which the Mountain agreed.  Thus, at the conclusion of that MWF World title match-up, Fiend and the Flock faced off against new-found rivals, the Hard Corps consisting of Rugged Ralph, Dr. Destruction, and Mountain Of Love.  With the Mountain defeating Dr. Destruction for the MWF title, Destruction and Ralph punked out the Mountain's ally at the time, Brett Krueger, who had come to the ring to congratulate the new champion only to have his head handed to him as Destruction, Ralph, and Mountain united as a new force in the MWF.  Fiend and Carnage came down appearing in defense of Krueger, but when they had chased the Hard Corps out of the ring, they too attacked Krueger and the battle had been set : group vs. group, Flock vs. Hard Corps.  With the Mountain of Love the reigning MWF World Champion, both Carnage and Fiend embarked upon a campaign to unseat Mountain as MWF World Champion.

At MWF Spring Fling 1999, with his Flock partner Carnage involved in the main event match, Fiend reluctantly teamed with Double-7 Chris Simmons to take on the Hard Corps combination of Dr. Destruction and Rugged Ralph.  Watching from the ring apron as Destruction and Rugged Ralph dominated Double-7, Fiend eventually was tagged in.  Fiend absolutely annihilated  Dr. Destruction, but when Fiend tagged Double-7 back in, the Hard Corps immediately took back control of the match prompting Fiend to actually leave the match in complete disgust to let Double-7 eventually be defeated by the Hard Corps.

Fiend was next scheduled to defend his MWF U.S. title against the Hard Corps' Rugged Ralph at MWF Saturday Slugfest 2, but was told upon arriving to MWF arena that Rugged Ralph had no-showed.  Incensed that Rugged Ralph had not appeared to take the beating he had planned for him, Fiend instead took his frustration out on MWF A.I.R. Champion Blue Tiger.  Fiend attacked Tiger's scheduled opponent Captain Condom in the lockerroom area, then inserted himself into the A.I.R. title match against Blue Tiger.  The MWF veteran Fiend wasted little time in squashing Tiger and took his A.I.R. title belt.  Since this had not been a sanctioned A.I.R. title match, however, Fiend was immediately stripped of the A.I.R. belt by MWF President Fred Travalenee.

At BattleBowl 1999, Fiend defended his MWF U.S. title against the Hard Corps' Mr. Hardcore easily squashing him and "backlash"-ing him thru a table.  But it was later in the main event match that Fiend would once again rear his head.  Dr. Destruction interfered in the Mountain of Love - Brett Krueger MWF World title lumberjack match with lumberjacks hand-picked by Brett Krueger. Having disguised himself as one of Krueger's hand-picked lumberjacks, the masked wrestler called Crash Test Dummy, Dr. Destruction interrupted a Brett Krueger cover of the Mountain.  Krueger drop-kicked the ersatz Destruction-Dummy out of the ring but was the victim of another attack : the Flock's Fiend had also disguised himself as lumberjack Sycho Analyst Sid and executed his finisher - the Backlash - allowing Mountain of Love to cover Krueger to retain the MWF belt.  Apparently, Fiend wanted to defeat Mountain of Love personally for the MWF World title at some point, and actually served as an insurance policy to make sure Brett Krueger did not interfere in his own plans allowing the Mountain of Love to retain the MWF World title.

This strategy may have back-fired on Fiend, however, as at Saturday Slugfest 3, Fiend now called out anyone and everyone in the lockerroom who thought they had a prayer of beating him.  He would defend the U.S. title against every man who came down the aisle, one man at a time until someone had beaten him or until he defeated every single wrestler in the back.  Fiend put the U.S. title on the line and defeated Reverend Righteous, 2Pac Notsure, and Big Hick Magee until finally the man he had cost the MWF World title at BattleBowl 1999, Brett Krueger, took advantage of the fatigued Fiend, and pinned him to take the U.S. title.  Fiend gained revenge later on in the event when he teamed with Carnage against Krueger and Double-7 Chris Simmons.  Fiend took advantage of Simmons turning on Krueger to Backlash Krueger and pin him to take the match.

Having defeated Krueger in the tag team match, Fiend was granted a U.S. title rematch against Krueger 1-on-1 in a falls-count-anywhere match at MWF Middletown Massacre 99.  Fiend took the early advantage in the match, even at one point pile-driving Krueger into a kiddie pool.  The champion, persevered though, and came back despite being locked in Fiend's "rings of Fiend" submission hold.  Fiend became too overconfident, though, as he actually picked up Krueger after he had executed his "backlash" finishing manuever, then attempted to apply it a second time, but then Krueger spun over into a bodypress and scored a 3-count to defend the belt.  With this latest defeat at the hands of Krueger, Fiend put him aside for the moment to resume his feud with the Hard Corps as he attempted to neutralize their interference on behalf of Carnage in the 3-way dance First Blood MWF World title match main event between the champion Mountain of Love, Dr. Destruction, and Carnage.  Despite being viciously double-teamed by both men during the match, Carnage managed to cause Dr. Destruction to be eliminated from the match when he ducked a MOL chairshot which instead struck Destruction bloodying and elmininating him from the match.  Destruction refused to leave ringside however, as he and the MOL continued their attack on Carnage in an effort to bloody him.  Fiend then appeared taking out Dr. Destruction and turning the tables on the Hard Corps.  Fiend managed to cause Mountain of Love to bleed after kicking a steel chair into his face.  The referee, however, had been knocked unconscious, thus Fiend left to revive her.  This allowed Dr. Destruction to return and blindside Carnage with a screwdriver causing him to bleed, and Destruction used water and a towel to wash away any trace of blood from the Mountain's forehead.  With the referee reviving, she awarded the match to the Mountain of Love as she only saw Carnage bloodied from Dr. Destruction's screwdriver attack allowing the Hard Corps to win this chapter of their war as Mountain of Love retained his MWF World title.

Carnage and Fiend gained a measure of revenge against the Hard Corps when they faced off against Mountain & Destruction in the first MWF Double Tables match - to win the match, both opponents must be put thru tables.  Carnage fell victim to the Hard Corps first of all as Dr. Destruction caught him in a side-slam position allowing Mountain of Love to legdrop him from the top rope thru the table.  The Flock took advantage of the Hard Corps' bloodlust, however, as they attempted to put Carnage thru a second table to possibly end his career, Fiend caught Destruction and with Dr. D on his shoulders, drove him face-first thru the table instead.  With the Hard Corps scrambling, Fiend managed to powerbomb Mountain thru another table to win the match.

Having defeated 2 out of their 3 opponents, Carnage and Fiend sought to get Rugged Ralph back in the ring to finish them for good, thus both teamed with their partner DeathMask against Ralph, Destruction and Mountain of Love at the MWF Water Under the Bridge event in England.  Fiend engineered a master plan that would guarantee the Flock's victory over the Hard Corps.  Behind the scenes, Fiend was successful in bringing Bobo Bravado back to the MWF, thus, this time, it was the Flock's turn to pull a swerve on the Hard Corps as the man who had been wearing the attire and mask of DeathMask unmasked during the match and revealed to be Bravado.  With the added surprise factor, the Flock defeated the Hard Corps in the 6-man match when Bravado jack-hammered and pinned Rugged Ralph.  The Flock left in triumph as the Hard Corps self-destructed; Dr. Destruction was injured during the match and was rushed by ambulance to medical facilities, and Rugged Ralph and Mountain of Love argued over Ralph being the man who was defeated to lose the match.  Rugged Ralph then turned on Mountain attacking him from behind and left him laying.

However, while Fiend and Carnage were victorious over the Hard Corps, the newly crowned MWF World tag champions, the Flock's C.I.A. and DeathMask (the real DeathMask), split up after losing the MWF tag belts to an unranked team called the Full Blooded Portugeez.   Following that tag title loss, DeathMask violently attacked C.I.A. with C.I.A.'s own briefcase.  Hoping to punish C.I.A. for his transgressions, Fiend brutalized and defeated him in a singles match at MWF Independence Day 1999.  Carnage seemed disappointed that Fiend could not get C.I.A. to rejoin the Flock, and teamed with Fiend less and less and this would help sew the seeds for the Flock's own self-destruction.

At MWF Summer Showdown 1999, Carnage was curiously matched against the man he had teamed with against the Hard Corps at MWF Water Under the Bridge, Bobo Bravado.  Maintaining the majority of the upper hand in the contest, Carnage was suddenly attacked by old foe Mountain of Love as well as a masked man wearing a Dr. Destruction t-shirt both of whom executed Dr. Destruction-style sitdown tombstone piledrivers on Carnage injuring his neck. The two men left the ring allowing Bobo Bravado to cover the injured Carnage for the easy victory.  Having lost his MWF U.S. title, Carnage was also stretchered out of MWF arena to ensure no permanent damage had been done to his neck.  During this altercation, Carnage's Flock partner Fiend was strangely absent yet wrestled later on in the event in a world title match taking on the man who quit the Hard Corps and defeated the Mountain for the MWF World title, Fiend's former New World Alliance cohort, Rugged Ralph.  After a see-saw match-up that could have gone either way, Fiend was ultimately defeated when he attempted his "backlash" finisher, but Rugged Ralph shifted his weight in mid-move and executed his "eradicator" bulldog out of it to pin Fiend to defend the title.

At the next MWF event, MWF In Your Face 7 - Wrestlers in the Mist, Carnage teamed with Fiend against the preliminary tag team of Purple Reign.  The duo quickly dispatched them when Carnage superfly splashed one of the Purples for the victory.  After the match, however, Carnage smashed Fiend with a steel chair and in one of the most heinous displays in MWF history, poured lighter fluid all over Fiend and began to light a match with the clear intention of setting Fiend on fire.  While about to toss the match onto Fiend, Carnage began to taunt Fiend and said that he was not there to back him up when he was stretchered out of MWF arena, so this would be his revenge.  Before Carnage could throw the match, however, the Flock's old foe Mountain of Love ran down to the ring with a chair and chased Carnage away.  Later on in that self-same card, another  MWF United States title match was held, this time Bobo Bravado defending his newly-won MWF U.S. belt against Double-7 Chris Simmons.  Bravado eventually fell victim to Simmons' Double-7 Deathdrop and was pinned to lose the MWF U.S. title.   Double-7's victory celebration was short-lived, however, as a masked man wearing a Dr. D t-shirt, Mountain of Love, and Fiend himself all came down to the ring and attacked Double-7 hitting him with their finishing manuevers the Doctor-Bomb, Death Valley Driver, and Backlash,  respectively.  Then in a token of victory, Bobo Bravado hit his own finisher on Simmons, the jack-hammer, and all 4 men left the ring together.  In the main event of the card, Carnage was also set to take on the man he defeated for the U.S. title, Brett Krueger.  Midway thru the contest, the man Carnage had tried to set on fire earlier in the card, Fiend, made an appearance at ringside.  The instant Carnage defeated Brett Krueger, Fiend entered the ring with a steel chair and hit Carnage with his finishing move "back-lash" onto the steel chair for a receipt for trying to set him on fire.   Apparently, Fiend was dissatisfied with Carnage, thus joined Bravado, Mountain of Love, and the masked man to form a new super stable.

Indeed, at MWF In Your Face 8 : Countdown to Extinction, a 5-way elimination match was signed between MWF mid-card talent.  Shortly following the eliminations of 2 of the participants, Beach Blanket Bobby and Tupac Notsure, the 5-Way match was interrupted by Fiend, Mountain of Love & the man wearing a Dr. Destruction t-shirt who attacked the 3 remaining competitors. Mountain of Love executed his Death Valley Driver on Professor Hishitzu and forced the referee to make a 3-count on him. The Masked Man executed a "doctor-bomb" Michinoku driver on Terminator and also received a 3-count from the referee. Fiend executed his "backlash" back suplex-sidewalk slam on Captain Condom for yet another 3-count to end the match.  Following the match, the masked man with the Dr. Destruction t-shirt took the microphone and announced that a new 'Hard Core' group of wrestlers was on its way to the MWF - the Innovator of Brutality MOUNTAIN OF LOVE, the new Franchise of the MWF FIEND, as well as himself, MR. D.

In the main event of MWF Superclash 99 : You Want Blood, You Got It, the match was signed Fiend, Mountain of Love, and Sergeant Joe Black vs. Double-7 Chris Simmons, Carnage and MWF World champ Rugged Ralph.  This was a 6-man team elimination match, once a member of 1 team was busted open and bloodied, then that man was eliminated from the match until 1 side remained.  Fiend survived until the very end until he was 1-on-1 with Double7.  As Double-7 attempted his top-rope swandive headbutt, Mountain of Love threw a steel chair in front of the headbutt, causing Double-7 to strike it instead of Fiend and cause him to bleed and eliminate him from the match.  Thus, the Hard Corps' Fiend was declared the winner.

At MWF In Your Face 5 : Ride the Lightning, in the MWF lockerroom, Fiend was preparing for the scheduled main event 5-way elimination match to determine the #1 contender to MWF World Champion Rugged Ralph, when he was brutally attacked by Carnage who repeatedly smashed Fiend's left leg with a sledgehammer until the trio of Bravado, Mountain of Love, & Mr. D made the save chasing Carnage away.  As a result of this assault, the main event was changed from a 5-way elimination match to a tag team match pitting Mountain of Love and Bobo Bravado against Carnage and Double-7 Chris Simmons.  Now, the man who scored the fall in the match would be deemed #1 contender.  A match eventually won by Mountain of Love.

This setback did not deter Fiend, as he wrestled alongside Mr. D and Mountain of Love in tag team matches until his leg was fully healed from Carnage's assault.  At MWF Wrestlemania 1999, Fiend appeared with the rest of the Hard Corps at ringside in the corner of Mr. D who had been chosen by Dr. Destruction to serve as his proxy in the match where the Presidency of the MWF was on the line against MWF President Fred Travalenee's proxy Sgt. Joe Black.  Mr. D defeated Black and unmasked revealing that he was in fact Dr. Destruction and he and the Hard Corps took the reins of power away from Fred Travalenee and the MWF corporate establishment.  Fiend also played a key role in Hard Corps stablemate Bobo Bravado retaking the MWF U.S. title from Double-7 Chris Simmons in their U.S. title match that same day.

At MWF Season's Beatings 1999, Fiend was allowed by the new MWF President Dr. Destruction to defend the MWF U.S. title that had been won by Bobo Bravado who was forced to miss the event due to travel problems.  Fiend faced Hard Corps enemy Rugged Ralph and successfully defended Bravado's MWF U.S. title by pinning Ralph with his infamous "backlash" manuever.

On the final event of 1999, MWF Survivor Series, Fiend once again defended the MWF U.S. title on behalf of Bravado (who was challenging Hard Corps stablemate Mountain of Love for the MWF World title in the main event) against Sgt. Joe Black in a 2-out-of-3-falls match.  Fiend handily took the first fall but was upset in the second fall before finally taking the third fall for the victory.  Fiend also appeared at the conclusion of the main event that pitted the Hard Corps MWF World Champion Mountain of Love against Bobo Bravado.  Mountain came out of the match on top, and then Fiend and all Hard Corps members celebrated to close out 1999.

2000

At the first card of 2000 - MWF Saturday Slugfest 7 - participated in the WAR GAMES main event of the card.  The match was a 6-man tag team match where partners were drawn at random to compete against opponents drawn at random.  By the luck of the draw, Fiend was matched with Double-7 Chris Simmons, and nemesis Carnage against the team of Dr. Destruction, MWF World Champion Mountain of Love and Sergeant Joe Black .  The real story of the match, however, turned out to be the special referee, Rugged Ralph.  Rugged Ralph called the match fairly until Carnage got in his face several times during the match.  The end of the match came when Carnage became so enfuriated by Rugged Ralph's slow counts of his pinfall attempts, this allowed a member of the opposite team - Sergeant Joe Black - to hit his finisher the TKO on Carnage and pin him to win the match.   Following the match, with Carnage recovering from the manuever, Carnage's manager BLACK WIDOW confronted special referee Rugged Ralph and slapped him in the face.  Rugged Ralph then locked her in his ERADICATOR standing bulldog finisher driving the Widow's head into the canvas totally laying out the Widow.  Black Widow was severely injured from the attack and needed to be stretchered out of MWF arena.

At MWF IN Your Face 10 - End of Days - 4/1/2000, MWF President Dr. Destruction announced that reigning MWF World TV Champion SID had been institutionalized and that he was therefore stripped of the MWF World Television title, and that a 3-way dance would be held to determine a new champion.  The match would take place later on the card and would involve Destruction's Hard Corps partner Fiend, Double-7 Chris Simmons, & Sgt. Joe Black.  Dr. Destruction turned out to be anything but impartial as he pulled the referee out of the ring as Double-7 had executed his flying headbutt finisher on Sgt. Black.  As Double-7 turned his attention to Destruction, Fiend took the opportunity to execute his "backlash" finisher on Simmons and pinned him to become the new MWF TV Champion.

At MWF After Hours, although Fiend was not scheduled to wrestle, his presence was felt in the Carnage-Rugged Ralph grudge match.  Carnage succeeded in defeating Rugged Ralph in their triple-death match, but before Carnage had the opportunity to extract further revenge for the injuring of his wife the Black Widow, following the match, Black Widow turned on Carnage striking him with a steel chair.  Fiend then appeared at ringside and back-lashed Carnage setting him up for a superfly splash executed by the BLACK WIDOW!  Black Widow then taunted Carnage claiming that he did not have the ability to protect her (stemming from Rugged Ralph injuring her at Wargames) so she obtained the services of Fiend.  Fiend now with Carnage's wife and manager, then challenged Carnage to a 1-on-1 match at the next MWF pay-per-view spectacular - MWF Middletown Massacre and left Carnage laying. Following this turn of events, Carnage's daughter Serenity appeared at ringside following the departure of Fiend and Black Widow to console her father to end the event.

At MWF Spring Fling 2000, Carnage interfered in Fiend's match against MWF U.S. Champion Sergeant Joe Black who blasted Fiend with Fiend's MWF TV title belt.  But this would come back to haunt Carnage as in the MAIN EVENT : Dog-Collar Chain Match : MWF World Champion Mountain of Love successfully defended the MWF World title by pinning Carnage with a guillotine leg-drop off the top rope putting Carnage thru a table following interference by Fiend who returned to cost Carnage his own chance at the MWF world title.  This time, it was once again Carnage who was left laying by Fiend as he and the Black Widow celebrated over the fallen Carnage.

At the next MWF event, MWF In Your Face 11 : Mission Impossible - May 20th, 2000 as Carnage was preparing to leave the arena following his match, he was served with divorce papers prepared by the Black Widow.  Carnage destroyed the messenger with a cookie sheet and vowed to kill both Black Widow and Fiend. Thus, in the MWF World Champion Mountain of Love-Fiend match-up, while the referee was inadvertantly distracted by Fiend's valet the Black Widow, Carnage came down to the ring and smashed Fiend with a steel chair. As this was happening, Sergeant Joe Black smashed Mountain of Love with a steel chair and Mountain fell on top of Fiend as the referee turned around and counted the 1-2-3.  After the match, as Black Widow was helping Fiend to his feet, Carnage speared BOTH Widow and Fiend thru a table that had been set up during the match.  As MWF referees stretchered out the injured Black Widow, Fiend's scheduled MWF World TV title opponent - Professor Hishitzu - made his way to the ring and Professor Hishitzu pinned the near-unconscious MWF World TV Champion Fiend with a springboard splash off the second rope and covered him for the 1-2-3 - thus Carnage left Fiend laying and cost him his MWF TV championship.

At MWF Independence Day 2000 - June 19, 2000, teaming in a a Dream Partner tag team match with MWF World Champion Mountain of Love.  They defeated MWF U.S. Champion Sergeant Joe Black & Rugged Ralph when Mountain of Love pinned Joe Black with the death valley driver.

Though finally signed to wrestle Fiend at MWF Middletown Massacre 2000 - July 8, 2000, in the MWF lockerroom area, MWF Hardcore Champion Carnage violently attacked Fiend severely injuring his knee, forcing Fiend to wear a leg brace.

With Carnage having won the MWF World title at MWF Summer Showdown 2000, Fiend was attacked by Carnage before Fiend's scheduled match at MWF Battle Bowl 2000 - August 5, 2000.  Carnage assaulted Fiend and his valet the Black Widow in the parking lot of MWF arena. Carnage dragged Fiend to the ring and destroyed him with steel chairshots to the head and repeatedly smashed Fiend's injured left leg.  Carnage hit Fiend with maximum carnage and attempted to do the same to the Black Widow before he was stopped by MWF officials.

At MWF In Your Face 12 : Armed & Dangerous - August 19, 2000, Fiend reformed THE FLOCK so as not to be vulnerable to any further Carnage sneak attacks.  Fiend and his new Flock of Justin Sane & Andre Agony were victorious in a 6-man match and put Carnage on notice that he would be coming for him.

With Fiend advised not to wrestle by doctors, at MWF In Your Face 13 : Breaking the Chains - August 26, 2000, Carnage successfully defended the MWF World title when he pinned MWF TV Champion the Jock with a superfly splash from the top rope.  Following the match, FIEND appeared and attacked Carnage with a steel chair and backlash-ed him onto the chair and left him laying as a receipt for Carnage's attack on him at MWF BattleBowl 2000.

FINALLY.....at MWF Wrestle-Mania 2000 - September 9, 2000, the long-awaited Carnage-Fiend match went down!  In a Dog Collar Match - MWF World Champion Carnage endured a tremendous beating from Fiend but successfully defended the MWF World title by pinning Fiend with a fade away superfly splash thru a table following interference from the BLACK WIDOW who low-blowed Fiend as Fiend was about to powerbomb Carnage thru a table. This swerve enabled Carnage to lie Fiend on a table and fade-away splash him thru the table to defeat him.  Finally, Black Widow and Carnage put an end to their mind games with Fiend and reunited.

Fiend - still stinging from his loss of both his MWF Wrestlemania match to Carnage and the loss of the Black Widow - faced his own Flock partner Justin Sane in a match to test his loyalty to him.  Later.....just as Carnage & the Widow were on the way down to the ring, the Flock struck and kidnapped Carnage's daughter Serenity spiriting her away in a van from MWF arena.  Unaware of this affront, Carnage took on the man whose title he had taken - the Mountain of Love - who had returned from his injury earlier in the summer looking for his MWF belt back.  But Carnage was equal to the task as he moonsaulted Mountain of Love and pinned him to retain the MWF World title.  When he returned to the lockerroom, he and Black Widow were absolutely INFURIATED that Serenity had been abducted by Fiend!!!!!

Before the start of MWF Harborview Havoc 2000, Fiend and Flock 2000 (Andre Agony and Justin Sane) were shown holding MWF World Champion Carnage's daughter Serenity prisoner in an animal cage in the basement of MWF arena.  Fiend taunted Carnage and told him the only way he would get his daughter back was to accept the challenge of Fiend for the next MWF event in a MWF World title match.  Later on in the event, MWF Hardcore Champion Fiend once again officially became Carnage's #1 contender as he & Brett Krueger defeated MWF World Champion Carnage & Double-7 Chris Simmons when Fiend pinned Carnage with his backlash back suplex-sidewalk slam onto a steel chair.

2001

Fiend was set to face MWF World Champion Carnage once again for the MWF World title at MWF New Year's Evil.  Carnage injured Fiend early on in the contest and delivered his maximum carnage springboard missile dropkick, but Fiend escaped being defeated....as Carnage was set to deliver his maximum carnage springboard missile dropkick a second time, Dr. Destruction (whom Carnage had injured in October 2000) appeared and gave Carnage a singapore cane shot to the back as Carnage was in mid-leap. After a brief exchange, Fiend pinned Carnage after spearing him thru a table to become the N-E-W MWF World Champion
