Career Profile

B. T. Vengeance first entered the MWF in 1990 billed as Buford T. Justice to participate in the first King of the Ring Tournament to crown the MWF's first champion. Pinned the Menace in his debut match.

Titles Held
1998 BattleBowl Champion

Greatest Match : 4/28/90 vs. Bobo Bravo. In the 1990 Ironman tournament, defeated the reigning MWF World Champion by pinfall in 3 seconds. Due to the nature of the tourney, the match was unfortunately a non-title affair.

Favorite Match : 7/11/98 vs. (Brother) Fiend. This was the debut match for the new NWA convert B.T. Vengeance. An impressive showing at that as Vengeance delivered a dominant thrashing to Brother Fiend. Attacked the former world champion without mercy and actually succeeded in getting one of his patented 5-counts for the pinfall victory following a devastating side-slam.

Toughest Opponent : Mike Speedo. Although outweighing Speedo by more that 200 pounds, was nevertheless taken apart by the more experienced Speedo in the 1990 Ironman tournament. An accomplished aerialist, the quicker Speedo dazzled and confounded Buford with a vast array of high-flying manuevers. Was actually busted open and suffered a broken nose by Speedo following a Speedo corner-splash. Ultimately, the crafty Speedo attacked Buford from behind causing Buford to inadvertantly strike the referee and was disqualified.

Most Hated Opponent :
Mountain of Love. Despite their recent attempts at teaming when belonging to the NWA, none can forget the epic battles Justice had against the former Mountain of Molten Lust. Years could not melt away their hatred as Justice called Mountain out of retirement in 1997 to rekindle that enmity.

Favorite Manuever : Side-slam. One of the most feared manuevers in the MWF, this is Vengeance's finishing manuever which has brought him scores of victories. Vengeance whips an opponent into the ropes then catches him with his arm extended around the victim's upper chest area and converts the momentum into an earth-shaking slam to the canvas.

Scouting Report

==Strengths==

: Power. Arguably the most powerful man in the MWF ever. Buford knows how to use his bulk and power to maximum effect.

: Sadistic. Makes no bones about what he's in that ring for - he's going to pummel his opponents without mercy. When he tells the MWF "It could happen to you"...the beating generally does no matter who his opponent is.

: Side Slam. Very few individuals have survived the manuever and lived to tell about it.

: Agility. Moves well for a big man. His dropkicks are legendary.

==Weaknesses==

: DQ Prone. If a match is not going his way, he will not hesitate to use the billy club he brings to the ring.

: Poor Defense. If not on the attack, Buford often finds himself in trouble and floundering on the mat.

: $$$ Motivation. Willing to take the almighty dollar in any situation. Has been employed by the Baked Warrior as a thug, taken a pay-off by Brett Krueger to get counted out in MWF IronMan tourney, and in general, will not compete in main event matches unless there's big money on the line.

Career Bio

The man who has recently become B.T. Vengeance was originally Buford T. Justice and first entered the MWF in 1990 for the first King of the Ring Tournament to crown the MWF's first champion. Pinned the Menace in the first round of that event, but lost by dq to the crafty veteran Brother Perfect (a.k.a. Fiend, Brother Friend, Brother Fiend, Nick Styles) and was eliminated. Engaged in a classic feud with the Mountain of Molten Lust in 1990. Buford T. Justice was employed at the time by the Baked Warrior, the then-MWF U.S. Champion, thus at WrestleMania 1990, the tandem of Justice and Baked Warrior met Mountain of Molten Lust and Brother Perfect in a tag team encounter. Contested under Texas Tornado rules, meaning that all competitors were battling each other simultaneously, the match ended when the behemoth Buford T. Justice administered several big splashes to the Mountain to pin him to take the match. Faced Lust later on in the card in a 1-on-1 match, was body-slammed for the first time in his career and later disqualified after using his trademark billy club. Battled Lust at house shows for some time with no clear winner ever being decided. Competed sporadically following the Mountain's retirement often doing dirty deeds done dirt cheap. Also trained a number of MWF try-outs including General Nuisance, Big Jim Slade, and the tag-team of Adam Bomb & William Knight. At Summer Showdown 1997, the mammoth Buford returned and defeated his opponent Rocky Iaukea with ease, but called out the Mountain of Molten Lust who had been providing color commentary and challenged him for the next card. Recalling the hatred the 2 individuals had for each other, the Mountain accepted the challenge and came out of retirement to face Justice one more time at Independence Day 1997. Once again, however, the wily Justice became frustrated as he could not put away the Mountain, the Mountain Of Molten Lust took off his wrestling boot and smacked Buford with it in full view of the referee. Pushed to his limit, Buford grabbed his billy club and began pummelling the helpless Mountain Of Lust leading to his disqualification. Originally signed to wrestle against Brett Krueger at the 1990 King Of The Ring tournament, he mysteriously failed to appear and was replaced in the tourney by the legendary Bonecrusher Bob. Was MIA until he appeared in 1998 for the BattleBowl spectacular. Teamed with Simon Glieman the Pieman in the random tag-partner portion of Battlbowl; the winning teams of which would advance to the prestigious Battle Royal to compete for the BattleBowl trophy. Defeated the team of Deathmask and Captain Condom following a Justice side-slam to advance to the Battle Royal. In the Battle Royal itself, survived to the end until Justice was alone against the Japanese triumverate of Mr. Hiamoto, Masa Sushi, and Terry Aki. Against all odds, Justice managed to duck under a triple-team kamikaze attack causing all 3 members of the Orient Express to be eliminated over the top rope and was crowned the 1998 BattleBowl Champion. At Middletown Massacre 3 1998 interfered in the Brother Fiend - Double-7 U.S. title match side-slamming Fiend allowing Double-7 to take the win. This seemingly senseless attack was later revealed to be the first salvo in the NWA civil war as Justice transformed himself into B.T. Vengeance, an NWA agent for Rugged Ralph and Mountain of Love. Faced Brother Fiend in a 1-on-1 match at Independence Day 1998 and pinned him for a 5-count after an inpressive assault. This victory earned Vengeance a MWF world title shot at In Your Face II : August Armageddon against the champion Dr. Destruction. With the aid of his NWA partner Mountain of Love interfering often outside the ring, nearly succeeded in taking the belt from Destruction following a side-slam. Destruction managed to put his foot on the rope, however, to break up the pin attempt. This near-win prompted Mountain's involvement once again, but his interference back-fired when Mountain hit Vengeance with a metal tray meant for Destruction. The champion quickly covered Vengeance and was thus defeated. Gained revenge on the champion later in the event as Vengeance teamed with reconciled-teammate Fiend along with Mountain of Love in a 6-man tag match against MWF World champion Dr. Destruction, Mike Speedo, and Franchise Brett Krueger. The NWA team managed to defeat the MWF team when B.T. Vengeance capitalized on a misplaced Krueger superkick to Destruction, who then side-slammed and pinned the champion for his notorious 5-count. Was apparently signed by the WWF prior to Summer Showdown 1998 and faced Brett Krueger in his farewell match at that event. After a back-and-forth contest, Krueger was initially dq-ed for using his wrestling boot against Vengeance, but Vengeance called him out for the chance to get a pinfall victory and the match resumed. Got the win by reversing Krueger's finishing manuever and side-slammed him for another 5-count victory. Relocated to Chicago for the WWF, but that deal fell through, and he is currently competing in Chi-town independents awaiting a possible future tour back in the MWF in 1999.
