Greatest Match: 3/10/90 vs. Fiend. Pinned his former tag-team championship partner Fiend (then Brother Perfect) in the final round of the 1990 King of the Ring tournament to become the federation's first MWF World Champion. Overcame interference from Perfect's associate, the Mountain of Molten Lust, to defeat him with a devastating leg-drop for the victory and the title.

Favorite Match: September 6, 1997 vs. Dr. Destruction in 1st round of the 1997 King of the Ring. Although dominated by Destruction in the early goings of the contest, took advantage of a mistake by Destruction when Dr. D was perched on the top rope. Hurled him thru 2 stacked ringside tables and took the match outside of the ring power-bombing Destruction onto the hard ground of MWF arena as well as using a host of foreign objects including at one point a garbage can. After a brief comeback by Destruction, Bravado's fellow NWA comrade Fiend would turn the tide against Destruction allowing Bobo to side-slam and pin him for the 3-count and a very satisfying win over the NWA enemy.

Toughest Opponent: None. In Bravado's own words, he easily defeated the best the MWF had to offer in the 1990 King of the Ring tournament to become the first MWF World Champion. According to Bravado, only MWF President Fred Travalenee and his biased officials enabled inferior MWF competition to get the better of him in the ring. This reasoning could be very possible to have been the impetus for his joining the anti-MWF New World Alliance in late 1996.

Most Hated Opponent: Double-7 Chris Simmons. An arrogant and vocal defender of the MWF, this was reason enough for Bravado to select Double-7 as his most hated opponent. The two met several times in tag-team matches as well as a 1997 Wrestlemania 4-way match-up. Bravado believed that Double-7 took advantage of the MWF-NWA war to kiss up to the MWF front-office to give the rookie Simmons main-event and title matches. For this reason alone was Simmons ever able to gain any type of victories over Bravado, since he had the biased backing of the MWF front office who had a new people's champion in Double-7.

Favorite Manuever: "Dropkick of Death". Generally able to overwhelm opponents with his sheer size and power, Bobo occasionally took to the air for this flying drop-kick in an effort to dish out even greater brutality.

Finishing Manuever: Jackhammer. This manuever is a combo move that Bobo has perfected that is a suplex-powerslam.  Bobo picks up an opponent for a vertical suplex, then brings him down into a powerslam.

Scouting Report

==Strengths==
: Total Wrestling Package. Has the perfect blend of size, strength, agility, and wrestling skill. Can wrestle toe-to-toe with any opponent.
: Signature Manuevers. From the Side-slam, to the "rolling thunder" clothesline, to his savate kick, Bobo puts his name on every victory he earns. His opponents generally know to expect these things, but can't stop him.
: Team-Player. No matter what role Bobo sets his mind to, he is always successful. He proudly carried the MWF to great heights as MWF Champion, and when Bonecrusher Bob was unable to commit to the NWA, Bobo not only took his place, but excelled at it.

==Weaknesses==
: Cocky. Brags often to the crowd about how wonderful he is. For the most part, can back up this "bravado", but it can also distract him from finishing off an opponent that's in trouble. His cockiness also gives opponents great incentive to wipe the smile off his face.
: Top-Rope Phobia. The MWF aerialists such as Brett Krueger and Double-7 generally give Bobo the most difficulty of any MWF wrestling style. Is usually dumbstruck whenever an opponent executes an aerial manuever against him.
: Slow-Starter. Generally needs a warm-up period to really kick it into high-gear. Attacked before the bell often.
: Temper. Makes mistakes often when he lets opponents "get to him". Generally loses most psychological mind-games.

Career Bio

The man who is now called Bobo Bravado made his MWF debut billed as Bobo Bravo managed by the Baron at Wrestlemania 1989. Was pinned in this match against Brett Krueger. Was awarded the MWF World tag team titles along with Brother Perfect in 1989. Reigned as champions until Superclash 1989 when they were beaten for the titles by Dr. Destruction and Mike Speedo. Dumped the Baron as his manager and broke off from tag partner Brother Perfect and entered the 1990 King of the Ring tournament that was to decide the first MWF World Champion. Pinned Bam Bam Bochino in the first round, pinned Mike Speedo in the second round, pinned Brett Krueger in the third round and defeated old tag partner Brother Perfect by pinfall in the final to become the first MWF World Champion. Defeated all-comers to the championship including title defenses against Buford T. Justice, Rugged Rich, and Bonecrusher Bob. Was defeated for the title in mid-1992 at the Elimination Confrontation event by the revitalized Nick Styles (formerly Brother Perfect). Competed sporadically for a time, seemingly lost in the MWF shuffle. Competed in the first-ever ladder match at Wrestlemania 1995 against Brett Krueger who had put up his "title" of King. Although appearing to be the first man to use the ladder to take the "crown" from its resting place, Krueger took an identical crown from another location and was declared the winner. In late 1996, was offered membership in the New World Alliance by the former Rugged Rich/Vigilante. Together, they took the names Bobo Bravado and Rugged Ralph and charted a course of devastation for the MWF. Donning black t-shirts that read "MWF Sucks", attacked MWF stars Dr. Destruction and Mike Speedo after a training session, spray painted them with the letters N.W.A. and left NWA propaganda pamphlets on their cars.

1997

After months of negotiations by their financial benefactor Fred Tibiase, finally Ralph and Bravado were allowed to compete in the MWF. In his debut MWF match, Bravado was pinned by Dr. Destruction in a tables and ladders match along with Brother Friend. Bravado, Brother Friend-turned-Fiend and the entire NWA attacked Destruction after the match-up, however and left him laying. His slump continued during BattleBowl being matched up against his NWA partner Rugged Ralph and NWA enemy Double-7 and was eliminated from that event but was instrumental in allowing Rugged Ralph to regain the U.S. title later on in that same card from Double-7. Gained revenge on Dr. Destruction in the King Of the Ring 1997 Tournament, by defeating him in the first round by pinfall and defeating the MWF Franchise Brett Krueger by submission in the second round before finally succumbing to the Moutain Of Molten Lust in the final. Bobo was scheduled to take on Double-7 at Wrestlemania, but additionally called out MWF stars Brett Krueger and Buford T. Justice to make the match a 4-way dance. Managed to eliminate Brett Krueger with a diamond-cutter, and Buford T. Justice after rolling him back into the ring after using a foreign object on him. Eliminating the 2 superstars took its toll, however, and was pinned by Double-7 to lose the match. Teamed with Rugged Ralph and Brother Fiend in a 6-man contest taking on Dr. Destruction and the Colaition in a match in which the loser of the fall would be forced to retire. Team NWA was defeated, however, due to Destruction's feigning an NWA turn and thus could only console the man suffering the pinfall, Brother Fiend, as this NWA defeat closed out 1997.

1998

Along with 8 other individuals MWF and NWA alike, had the opportunity to participate in the 9-man Elimination Confrontation match at Spring Fling 1998 which was to decide the new MWF world champion. The NWA clearly had a game-plan, as Brother Fiend had feigned MWF allegiance to be reinstated from retirement by MWF President Fred Travalenee. This proved to be a clever ruse, however, as late in the match, Brother Fiend and Bobo combined to administer a terrible beating to the sole surviving MWF participant, Mike Speedo. Thinking Speedo beaten, Brother Fiend voluntarily lied down for Bravado to pin him, then the plan would be for Bravado to finish off Speedo and take the title in grand fashion. However, the NWA's former bodyguard Juicer Jeremy ran down and blind-sided Bravado enabling Speedo to recover and frog-splash him to win the match and foil the NWA's takeover scheme.

Incensed from this loss, Bravado took on Juicer Jeremy in a grudge match at Lunatic Fringe 1998. Was locked into a debilitating submission hold by the Juicer, but refused to submit. Instead, Bobo lost consciousness and lost the match to the UFC mat-master.

Seething from this loss and tired of the plans of NWA founder Rugged Ralph to take over the federation, Bobo Bravado and Brother Fiend broke off from the other NWA members Rugged Ralph and Mountain of Love to pursue their own goals of causing chaos in the federation. Teamed with Brother Fiend at MWF Battlebowl 1998 to wrestle the Coalition in a tag-team title match. General Nuisance was late in arriving, thus Private Parts heroically offered to defend the tag belts alone as he had often done when the General had missed MWF events. This proved to be foolhardy, however, as Private Parts was no match for the combined efforts of the two former world champions and was beaten. Following the victory, the duo announced that they were tired of being looked over for MWF World title shots, and annihilated the Coalition to take the belts in a show of disgust. MWF President Travalenee, however, decided they would wrestle EACH OTHER for the right to challenge for the MWF World title belt on the next pay-per-view event. Reluctant at first, the two eventually started the impromptu match, and battled each other in a violent donnybrook. Bobo defeated Brother Fiend after several minutes; while Brother Fiend was holding a steel folding chair, Bravado savate-kicked it into Brother Fiend's face for the victory and the right to face the MWF World Champion at the next event. Dissension between the two did not occur, however, despite Travalenee's hopes, as together they threw the tag team titles that they had just won into the garbage necessitating the tag belts being vacated. Later on that day, appeared along with Brother Fiend following Dr. Destruction's MWF World title victory over Mike Speedo and threw him a black-and-white NWA t-shirt presumably to mull over the offer of becoming NWA.

With no vocal answer from Destruction forthcoming, engaged in a violent Table Death Match against the champion at Middletown Massacre 1998. Bobo was the first man to put their opponent thru a table as he caught Dr. Destruction on the top rope, then slammed him off the top rope thru a table that Destruction had set up in the ring.  Destruction managed to answer the 10-count and continue the match, belly-to-belly suplexing Bobo thru a table reversing Bravado's own belly-to-belly suplex attempt. Although dominating the remainder of the match against the new champion, Bobo miscalculated and was flying-bodypressed thru a table by Destruction.  As a result of the move, Dr. Destruction was lying atop Bravado, thus Bravado could not get up even if he wanted to and as a result, lost the match as he could not answer the mandatory 10-count.

Was scheduled to face Mike Speedo at Independence Day 1998, but, stinging from the prior world title loss against Destruction, brutally assaulted Dr. D's brother Speedo injuring his leg in an effort to force Destruction to seek revenge. Though scheduled to face Mountain of Love just minutes away in a weapons match, anger got the better of Destruction, and he challenged Bravado to enter the match to make the contest a 3-way dance. Bravado worked with Mountain as a team, however, for many long minutes pummelling Destruction exclusively without mercy. Although almost pounded into paste by their double-teaming tactics, Destruction managed to cause a Bravado clothesline attack to hit the Mountain of Love. This caused the Mountain to become irate at Bravado leading to a more balanced encounter as all 3 men fought each other. Finally, Bravado got the chance to coordinate an attack with Destruction spike-piledriving the Mountain and pinning him to eliminate him from the match. Bravado and Destruction continued battling until the Mountain, upset at his being beaten by Bravado, interfered and applied his finisher, the death-valley-driver to Bravado, which was followed up by a Destruction top-rope elbow-smash onto the chair-covered face of Bravado to defeat him. Following this defeat, Bravado entered into contract disputes with the MWF front-office that continue to this day and was in effect, retired from the MWF.

1999

Mid-way thru 1999, Bobo Bravado finally ironed out the issues of his contract dispute with the MWF front office, and returned in devastating fashion to the MWF at the MWF's inaugural U.K.-only pay-per-view Water Under The Bridge event in the main event 6-man tag team match involving the Hard Corps Dr. Destruction, Mountain of Love & Rugged Ralph against the Flock - Fiend, Carnage, & DeathMask.  Bravado had been brought back to the MWF by Fiend, who had Bobo wear the outfit and mask of DeathMask during the match.  During the course of the match, "DeathMask" executed his side-slam from Hell on Dr. Destruction, and ripped his own mask off revealing that it was actually Bobo Bravado.  With this added surprise factor, the match reached its conclusion with the Flock coming out on top after Rugged Ralph tried blinding Carnage with powder as he had done weeks earlier to Dr. Destruction, but Rugged Ralph instead accidentally blinded the Mountain of Love.   The MOL executed the Death Valley Driver on Rugged Ralph by accident, enabling the Flock to capitalize and score the victory by pinning Ralph when Bobo Bravado jack-hammered him for the 3-count.

Bobo Bravado made his MWF debut at MWF Summer Showdown 1999.  The new MWF World Champion Rugged Ralph conducted his own interview boasting about defeating the Mountain of Love on the previous Saturday Slugfest 5 event.  Ralph called out the men who were his 6-man tag team partners during the match in which he achieved the tainted pinfall over Mountain of Love to capture the belt - the Reds - Big Red & Little Red.  Instead of thanking the Reds for their assistance, Ralph instead sand-bagged them with a double-clothesline and also hit a double-eradicator bulldog on both men sending them severely injured back to the locker room.  Ralph continued his one-man interview when he was interrupted by of all people Ralph's former New World Alliance partner Bobo Bravado.  After taking credit for literally the last 3 years of the career of Bravado, Rugged Ralph was challenged for the MWF belt and attacked by Bobo.  Bobo  jack-hammered Ralph and left him laying and this would set up an impromptu MWF title match before the PPV - Rugged Ralph vs. Bobo Bravado for the MWF World title.  Come match time, Bobo wrestled well against the MWF champ in his first singles match since his MWF return, displaying virtually no ring-rust at all despite his lengthy lay-off, but was eventually defeated by Rugged Ralph when Ralph caught Bravado with his finisher, the eradicator bulldog , onto the MWF World title belt.

At MWF Summer Showdown 1999, Bobo received another MWF title opportunity, this time a MWF U.S. title match against the reigning champion Carnage.  Late in the contest, Carnage had the upper hand as he drop-kicked Bravado off the ring apron to the floor.  With the referee attending to Bravado who claimed to have injured his leg as a result of that manuever, two men - one the Mountain of Love and the second a man wearing a black mask and wearing a Dr. Destruction t-shirt ran in to the ring and executed consecutive sit-down tombstone pile-drivers to Carnage nearly breaking his neck.   Following this heinous attack, both men left the ringside area allowing Bravado to easily cover Carnage and defeat him for the MWF U.S. title.  After the match, Carnage was stretchered out of MWF arena.

The following event, MWF In Your Face 7 : Wrestlers in the Mist, another  MWF United States title match was held, this time Bobo Bravado defending his newly-won MWF U.S. belt against Double-7 Chris Simmons.  Bravado dissected Double-7 with submission and high-impact manuevers, but eventually fell victim to Simmons' Double-7 Deathdrop and was pinned to lose the MWF U.S. title.   Double-7's victory celebration was short-lived, however, as the masked man wearing a Dr. D t-shirt, Mountain of Love, and Bravado's old NWA partner Fiend all came down to the ring and attacked Double-7 hitting him with their finishing manuevers the Doctor-Bomb, Death Valley Driver, and Backlash,  respectively.  Then in a token of victory, Bobo Bravado hit his own finisher on Simmons, the jack-hammer, and all 4 men left the ring together.

In the main event tag team match of MWF In Your Face 9 : Eye of the Hurricane with the wrestler scoring the pinfall to receive an MWF World title shot against MWF World Champion Rugged Ralph at a future MWF event - Bobo Bravado & Mountain of Love defeated Carnage & Double-7 Chris Simmons when the Mountain of Love pinned Carnage following a death valley driver.  During the match, Bobo attacked an MWF fan in the crowd who had been taunting him, smashing a cookie sheet over his head in one of the most despicable acts ever perpetrated by an MWF wrestler.

Bobo's quest to regain the U.S. title came full circle at MWF Wrestlemania 1999.  With his Hard Corps partner Fiend by his side, Bobo reversed a Double-7 hurricanrana attempt into a powerbomb to pin Simmons and regain the MWF U.S. title belt.  Bravado also appeared with the rest of the Hard Corps at ringside in the corner of Mr. D who had been chosen by Dr. Destruction to serve as his proxy in the match where the Presidency of the MWF was on the line against MWF President Fred Travalenee's proxy Sgt. Joe Black.  Mr. D defeated Black and unmasked revealing that he was in fact Dr. Destruction and he and the Hard Corps took the reins of power away from Fred Travalenee and the MWF corporate establishment.

On the final event of 1999, MWF Survivor Series, Bobo Bravado faced MWF World Champion Mountain of Love in the main event of MWF Survivor Series 1999 refereed by Hard Corps member and MWF President Dr. Destruction.  After a tooth-and-nail confrontation, Mountain came out of the match on top following a death valley driver, but all Hard Corps members celebrated afterwards displaying their MWF dominance to close out 1999.

2000

Bobo Bravado began 2000 the reigning MWF U.S. Champion.  But due to miscommunications regarding his schedule, the MWF was forced to strip Bobo of the MWF U.S. title - a title that was eventually decided in a tourney and captured by Mr. Black.

But Bobo managed to iron out these difficulties and made his return at MWF Middletown Massacre 2000 - July 8th, 2000.  Bobo tore thru newcomer the Jock and pinned him with a powerbomb.

Before the scheduled MWF Hardcore Title Match main event at MWF Summer Showdown 2000 - July 22, 2000, between MWF Hardcore Champion Carnage and Bobo Bravado, MWF owner Joseph T. Joseph appeared and announced that the MWF World Champion Mountain of Love was in attendance.  Mountain of Love announced that due to the attack by Sergeant Joe Black and Ares, Mountain of Love would not be able to wrestle for at least 2 months.  Mountain of Love voluntarily surrendered the MWF World title and Joseph T. Joseph announced Carrnage and Bobo Bravado were the #1 contenders for the belt, thus their match would indeed be for that title. Carnage pinned Bobo Bravado in the main event with maximum carnage - Carnage set up a steel chair in front of Bobo Bravado's face and top rope springboard dropkicked the chair into his head from the opposite side of the ring to become the N-E-W MWF World Heavyweight Champion.

Denied the MWF World title, Bobo had another chance to compete for the title vacated by Carnage -the MWF Hardcore title at BattleBowl.  But before the start of MWF BattleBowl 2000, Bobo Bravado arrived at MWF arena and was greeted by Rugged Ralph who shook Bobo's hand to welcome him back to the MWF.  Unfortunately for Bravado, this was a sneak attack as Rugged Ralph sandbagged him with a steel chair and beat Bravado down severely.  Rugged Ralph beat Bobo down all the while singing the theme song to the old 70's hit sitcom Welcome Back Kotter.  But once again the evil of Ralph did not prosper as Bobo Bravado (from Canada) & El Fuego defeated Rugged Ralph (who before his match degraded all Canadians) & C.I.A. when El Fuego pinned C.I.A. with a flying bodypress as Bobo and Rugged Ralph brawled outside the ring.  Bobo Bravado was an impressive force in the Battle Royal eliminating several wrestlers but was eventually eliminated by of all people Carnage who had entered himself in the battle royal for the sole purpose of causing havoc!  Ironically, Terry Aki won the MWF Hardcore Battle Royal last eliminating the Jock.  But following the match, Terry Aki unmasked and revealed he was in fact RUGGED RALPH (who had been eliminated earler in tag team action by Bobo) and became the N-E-W MWF Hardcore Champion!  Clearly, Rugged Ralph had hid big time from the Big Daddy!

But with the Rugged One embroiled in a feud with Brett Krueger, this left Bobo without much competition.  At MWF In Your Face 12 : Armed & Dangerous - August 19, 2000, Bobo defeated another rookie El Fuego with his patented jack-hammer suplex-powerslam but other than that, competition was few and far between.

At MWF Lunatic Fringe- October 21, 2000, Mountain of Love and his protege Mr. Black defeated Carnage & Bobo Bravado following a MOL mangler piledriver off the top rope on Carnage.

At MWF Harborview Havoc - November 4, 2000, in the MAIN EVENT : Unsanctioned Lights Out Lumberjacks with Straps match - Bobo Bravado took out months of frustration of lack of competiton and pinned MWF U.S. Champion Mountain of Love with a jackhammer suplex-powerslam.

Thus, now Bobo looks forward to facing Double-7 Chris Simmons - another man lost in the MWF shuffle at present, at MWF New Year's Evil.

2001

At MWF New Year's Evil, Bobo Bravado finally got the upper hand on Double-7 Chris Simmons after reversing a D-7 frankensteiner attempt into a tigerbomb to pin him for the 3-count..
